Ballack back to the starting XI after Leverkusen in the Bundesliga has previously held two games on the bench. In those games, the performance of former Germany captain was playing in midfield with Simon Rolfes look promising.
Leverkusen coach Robin Dutt was not sure whether Ballack will play against his former club, Chelsea, Wednesday (14 / 9) pm dawn.
"I'm happy with Michael Ballck and he appeared active at the game last night. But I still do not know whether he will play on Tuesday at Chelsea," said Dutt on Soccernet.
